Necessity of replacing filter cartridges:

1. Eliminate Bio-Film:

The most significant cause for servicing your water purifier is to remove the "bio-film" (organic nutrient) that builds up on the inside of the system over a period of time. If bio-film is not eliminated properly, there is a high chance that the water quality particularly microbiological quality will rapidly depreciate. With the proper treatment - using a strong natural disinfection solution will destroy the bio-film and return your purifier to the manufacturer's specification. The elimination of bio-film is carried out as part of our servicing practice upon a yearly (Carbon Filter Cartridges) and monthly (PP/Sediment Filter Cartridges) filter change.

2. Performance:

Filtration performance will ultimately decline with the amount of water treated and the amount of impurities removed. Your Systems is designed to eliminate huge proportion of common waterborne impurities. It is also designed to ensure best possible filtration performance for the scheduled life of the cartridge. As part of defensive maintenance, the requirement is to replace the filter cartridge before filtration performance is weakened thus ensuring that the quality of water that you are drinking is never compromised.

3. Damage due to over-pressurization:

In order to maintain the mechanical integrity of your system it is important that filter cartridges are changed at the scheduled servicing time. When filter cartridges become partially blocked by the substances that are being filtered, it is possible for the resulting back-pressure to subject the filtration system to extreme water pressure loadings. This may in some cases cause water leaks to develop and cause to a vital mechanical damage to the entire system.
